How To Apply Clutch Accurately?
Hint:
• Don’t trample clutch pedal under no need. Vehicle clutch engaged together without slippage during normal driving. Whenever we need to trample clutch pedal is while starting, shifting gear and braking at low velocity, in the other time don’t apply clutch pedal or put feet on pedal as rest for yonks, as it can easily cause clutch slippage, clutch disc burnt, ect. Or pressure plate and end face of flywheel will get burnt and pulled to damage, the pressure spring of clutch tempered when worse. Also, it will result in the increase of fuel consumption, weakness power when driving, abrasion exacerbation and cost increase.
• The right operation when start. the operation key is “quickly first, slowly followed, engagement at last ”. namely, quickly at the beginning when pedal is being raised; slowly pedal uplifts when clutch is in the status of half linkage ( at which time engine sound has certain change); during the process of the half linkage to the complete, put up pedal slowly and trample accelerating pedal according to engine resistance at the same time to make vehicle start forward smoothly.
• Right operation for gear shift. Clutch pedal should be trampled and uplift rapidly without half linkage phenomenon during drive, otherwise clutch abrasion will be increased. In addition, coordinating with accelerating pedal when operating.
• In order to shift gear smoothly and reduce the abrasion of gear shift mechanism of transmission and clutch, we recommend “ shift gear by trampling clutch pedal twice ”, although it’s complicated in operation while good for fuel and money saving.
